We are looking for a professional and confident HR Assistant to help to promote
our culture and enhance the performance of our branch in Canary Wharf. You will
need to be a team player, as well as someone who is a good listener, can influence
others, and agree mutually beneficial solutions.
The Human Resources Assistant will provide high quality, legally sound guidance
to managers on a wide range of issues, so should ideally be CIPD qualified or currently
studying towards this.
Duties include
Inputting data e.g. salary amendments, timesheets, bonus and commission payments,
deductions in respect of car excesses, parking fines, car damage, and car retention
Providing effective employee communications
Handling employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner
Ensuring, in conjunction with line managers, that HR policies and procedures are
fully implemented
Advertising jobs internally and externally using the appropriate media/agencies,
and interviewing candidates using structured behavioural interviews
Building relationships with agencies
Carrying out all necessary pre employment screening, administering all new starter
paperwork and ensuring that all employee files comply with the guidelines in the
Data Protection Act
