Our experienced Property Management team looks after over 500 properties in and
around Canary Wharf, working to ensure relationships between Jacob fox, landlords
and the tenants run smoothly. The department prides itself on providing an excellent
service, ongoing support throughout each tenancy and positive solutions to landlords
or tenants who require our help.
It is a demanding environment, working with hundreds of landlords and tenants, providing
exceptional customer care, and dealing with everything from simple queries to full
time daily management of properties. With years of experience within the lettings
industry and a wide range of services to offer our clients, our Property Management
team exists to help landlords through every element of the process.
There are several different roles available within this department. Since they all
involve dealing directly with landlords, tenants and suppliers, excellent communication
skills are essential.
Property Manager Assistant
The calls you receive from our clients on a daily basis are extremely varied, and
will involve answering basic tenancy queries, explaining how to extend a contract,
or offering guidance on property law. Sometimes you will need to deal with more
complex issues that will require a written response, either via email or letter.
Mediating between the tenant, the landlord and other Jacob fox departments is a
major part of the role, as is progressing and managing all necessary documents.
It is essential to balance the many different demands on your time to ensure that
our tenants and landlords receive excellent service at all times.
You will be fully trained on all the different aspects of the property industry,
so experience is not essential but some knowledge or experience would be an advantage.
We believe in “on the job” training so you get hands on experience from the start.
The successful applicant will also be expected to be on call at certain times out
of office hours.

Responding to tenant and landlord enquiries
Assisting the lettings and Property Management department with conducting a seamless
and professional move in for Tenants
Resolving tenant issues
Rent collection
Portfolio management
Ensuring current legislation and guidelines are met at all times
Providing excellent customer service at all times
Department administration assistance
